Custom-made sugar
Raffinerie Tirlemontoise offers a wide range of sugar products, both for consumers and for industrial applications. No less than 90% of our production is intended for industrial customers. We sell in bulk but also custom-made sugar.
- In Wanze we produce sugar in bulk, packed in bags and boxes of 5 to 50 kilograms, in big bags of one tonne, on pallets, in containers of 1,200 kilograms, and in trucks and trains.
- In Tienen we package sugar for both retail and industry, just like in Wanze. In addition, we also produce our world-famous pearl sugar here – the ingredient for real Belgian sugar waffles.
- In Oostkamp we focus on specialty sugars, ideal for applications such as sweets or the fondant on a donut.
- In Merksem we specialize in candy and cane sugar, produced under the well-known brand Candico.
- In Wijchen (the Netherlands) we make various types of liquid sugars, perfect for use in, for example, lemonades.
