In early August 2025, the city of Tienen once again became the beating heart of the Belgian festival summer. Suikerrock 2025, held amidst the iconic setting of the old sugar refinery, turned into more than a festival – it became a moment of shared pride, music, and community.
A one-of-a-kind setting
The towering silos and industrial structures of the former sugar factory created a backdrop full of raw character. The unique atmosphere blended heritage and modern creativity – making the event not just memorable, but truly rooted in the identity of Tienen.
More than music
While a few big names took the stage – including Snow Patrol and Pommelien Thijs – Suikerrock 2025 stood out for its inclusive spirit. It was a celebration that brought people together: locals, artists, partners, and visitors from across the country.
A strong local partnership
For the Tiense Suikerraffinaderij, being part of Suikerrock is more than a sponsorship – it’s a celebration of our city, our people, and our shared future. This collaboration continues to showcase Tienen as a vibrant place where tradition and innovation meet in harmony.
