Südzucker strives to be a leading partner for sugar based solutions and is committed to a liveable, healthy, and sustainable world. The company has the goal of reach climate neutrality by 2025.
Sugar Division
The Südzucker Sugar Division is an organisationally independent unit within the Südzucker Group and covers the totality of sugar activities of the group. This division is active in all of Europe and employs 3,700 people. The main products are sugar and sugar specialties for both consumers and industrial partners. Beside that, by-products such as animal feed and carbolime are also produced, as well as sugar beet based solutions and custom products.
Raffinerie Tirlemontoise is part of the Sugar Division and contributes to the heart of the Südzucker Group. Although the group has grown in the past decades and has further expanded into new divisions, sugar remains the foundation of its activities. After all, the Sugar Division is the origin and the core of the entire group.
