Locations

We have several locations in Belgium and the Netherlands: in Tienen, Wanze, Longchamps, Oostkamp, Merksem, and Wijchen. Each location has its own specialty.

1. Tienen: Here you will find the main offices of Tiense Suiker. The factory in Tienen produces both sugar for industrial applications as for retail. They also produce pearl sugar, an essential ingredient in Belgian sugar waffles and other bakery products.
2. Longchamps: In this location, sugar beets are processed into sugar sap. This will then be transported to the factory in Wanze through an underground pipe for further processing.
3. Wanze: Here the sugar sap from Longchamp us converted into sugar. The Wanze branch mainly focuses on the production of sugar for industrial use.
4. Oostkamp: This factory produces sugar specialties, such as fondant sugar and special sugar coatings used in candy and confectionery. In this location sugar is made to order tailored to the specific needs of clients in the food industry.
5. Merksem: Here you can find the Candico factory, specialised in the production of candy sugars and syrups.
6. Wijchen: This factory focuses on liquid sugar and sugar specialties. Rafti Sugar Solutions supplies sugar solutions to B2B clients such as soft drink producers, candy manufacturers, and other food companies.
